Bartlett Empty Bowls 2022 raised $4,200
for the Webster Dudley Food Share
Plus a truckload of donated can goods!

Thank you to everyone who helped out with this year's event!
Many hands make light work!

Definitely was a night of goodwill, great food, and great ART!  Thanks to everyone who helped! The $4,200 we raised will be donated to the Webster Dudley Food Share!  Our guests also donated several large boxes of non perishable food items. Our art students donated their pots. The Bartlett Cafe and dozens of local restaurants and businesses donated their food/time/money.  The Bartlett Acawaca's sounded awesome! Bartlett's  students volunteered their time setting up and serving our guests.  Administrators, teachers, custodians, parents, students, and the community all came out and supported this worthy cause.  Everyone seemed to love picking out their bowls. There were several blind folded pottery wheel demonstrations.  Ice sculptures and other student created artwork on display.  Students designed place mats for the kids to color but I think I saw more adults coloring.  Thank you all!

2018 Bartlett Empty Bowls
Date: Friday April 6th 2018 6:00- 8:00
Location: Bartlett High School Cafeteria

“Empty Bowls” is a grassroots movement to help end hunger.  The idea is simple.  Enjoy local pottery and food at this casual family-friendly event.  Choose a handmade ceramic bowl.  Taste samples of entrées, soup, bread and dessert from several local restaurants.  Keep your bowl as a reminder that your support helps fill all the empty bowls in our community.  Bowl prices will start at $20 for adults and $10 for students. Kids under 6 eat free.  The Bartlett Jazz Band will be performing.  We will also have blindfolded pottery wheel demonstrations, ice sculptures and student artwork on display.

This year's theme: Honoring Webster's HEROES -First Responders:
Police, Fire, EMS, and Military personnel all eat for FREE!
We appreciate your strength and resilience and your service to our community.

Picture
A special Honor goes to Detective Cindy Johnson and Officer Michael Lee,
both Bartlett alumni who dedicated their lives to serving the town of Webster.
We will be selling photographs taken by members of The OJ Memorial Photo Walk Club!

Money raised by the sale of the photos will be donated to cancer research and BHS scholarships.

Please join us for a magical evening of community spirit

and enjoy good will, good food, and good ART!
